T. Winders Designs is a full-service architectural and furniture design firm that has served the Southern California community for 3 decades. We believe we offer the broadest based of services and experience available. We can make this claim because of our unique approach. We have developed a system of production and design control that eliminates many of the difficulties in having custom designs developed and manufactured. This makes our production work and refinishing even more effective. Our goal, (as budget allows) is to get the most value from each project, while developing its potential to the fullest.

We believe that “Old World Craftsmanship” is not just an overused phrase; it defines highly skilled craftsman and artisans who have distilled, over centuries, the best materials and techniques to create an esthetic appeal in furniture and architecture that we continue to appreciate today. By today’s standards, this translates into attention to detail, service, and quality. By maintaining this philosophy, and by employing modern materials and techniques, we utilize the vest of both worlds. We try to insure these principals are molded into all our projects and services.
To that end, we have developed a step-by-step process that lets the client be as involved as they wish. Also, this system allows for changes and advance notice of most problems, thereby solutions can be put in place before it becomes an issue. This approach saves costly production delays, unplanned expenses, and still allows for required changes of they should arise.
Besides great service, the three basic requirements that define any project, large or small are: Designing (form follows function), Budgeting, and Scheduling. Our system allows us to evaluate each project as a whole or in parts, identify the key components and maintain our priorities. This ensures a quality design that is well executed. No one likes or should expect surprises that result in unexpected expenses.
Our method of estimating each project allow for a complete and accurate analysis of all of its parts. The client knows, up front, the total cost from design to engineering, through manufacturing, finish, delivery, and installation. Preliminary consultation and estimates are done without charge.
